One evening in their student days, Joan and Roy could have committed themselves to each other, and so shared a path through life together. However, they failed to do so and went their separate and different ways, although their paths did touch occasionally over the years.
When Roy took his wife Natalie to Seattle on vacation to join a guided coach tour, from there to Victoria and Whistler and across British Columbia into the Canadian Rockies, he hoped that enjoying the tour together would help improve their marriage. He was surprised to discover that Joan was one of their fellow passengers.
The tour turns out to be an eventful one for them, and for others who are travelling with them, who will face, or have faced, critical decisions in their lives.
